ELEMENT | 08 ("the App") is a freediving training and logging application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

// DATA COLLECTION

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains on your device.

• Training sessions: Stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This includes timers, block timelines, contraction markers, ratings, and notes.
• Dive logs: Imported from FIT/Garmin files you select. Parsed and stored locally.
• Oximeter data: SpO2, heart rate, and perfusion index readings received via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) from your paired pulse oximeter. Stored locally as part of your training session.
• App settings: Theme, audio preferences, units, and other configuration. Stored locally.

// BLUETOOTH

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to connect to pulse oximeters for real-time SpO2 monitoring during training. BLE is only active when you initiate a device scan or connect to a device. No data is transmitted to external services.

// ANALYTICS & TRACKING

The App does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels. There are no third-party integrations that collect user data.

// ACCOUNTS

The App does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or authentication. All functionality works offline.

// DATA SHARING

Your data is never shared with third parties. The App does not transmit any information over the internet. The only network-adjacent feature is BLE communication with your own oximeter device.

// DATA DELETION

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Deleting individual sessions within the App
• Clearing the App's data in your device settings
• Uninstalling the App (removes all associated data)

// CHILDREN

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

// CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
