PRIVACY POLICY

ELEMENT | 08 ("the App") is a freediving training and logging application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

// DATA COLLECTION

Your training data stays on your device. The App does not transmit your sessions, dive logs, or oximeter readings to external servers. The one exception is purchase and subscription information, described under Purchases and Subscriptions below.

• Training sessions: Stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This includes timers, block timelines, contraction markers, ratings, and notes.
• Dive logs: Imported from FIT/Garmin files you select. Parsed and stored locally.
• Oximeter data: SpO2, heart rate, and perfusion index readings received via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) from your paired pulse oximeter. Stored locally as part of your training session.
• App settings: Theme, audio preferences, units, and other configuration. Stored locally.

// BLUETOOTH

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to connect to pulse oximeters for real-time SpO2 monitoring during training. BLE is only active when you initiate a device scan or connect to a device. No data is transmitted to external services.

// PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

When you buy a subscription or a one-time purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management provider, to verify, deliver, and restore your purchases. For this purpose RevenueCat receives your purchase history along with an app-generated identifier and a device identifier. This information is used only to provide the features you bought. It is not linked to your name or email, and it is never used to track you across other apps or for advertising.

// ANALYTICS & TRACKING

The App does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The only third-party service is RevenueCat, used solely to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions as described above.

// ACCOUNTS

The App does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or authentication. All functionality works offline.

// DATA SHARING

Your training and dive data is never shared with third parties and is not transmitted over the internet. The only information sent off your device is purchase and subscription data, shared with Apple and RevenueCat solely to process and restore your purchases as described above. BLE communication is limited to your own paired oximeter.

// DATA DELETION

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Deleting individual sessions within the App
• Clearing the App's data in your device settings
• Uninstalling the App (removes all associated data)

// CHILDREN

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

// CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
